The Pekin Rotary Club

The Pekin Rotary Club is ushering in the new Rotary year with Drew Eilts as our President for 2024-2025. Originally from Ottawa, IL, Drew now calls Germantown Hills home with his wife Jamie of 17 years and their four children: Colin (12), Josie (10), Maisie (8), and Max (4). Drew holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois and has been a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones in Pekin since 2004. His professional journey includes achieving the AAMS® designation in 2008 and becoming a limited partner at Edward Jones in 2010. In 2018, he earned his CFP® certification.
Beyond his career, Drew is deeply involved in his community and Rotary, celebrating a decade with our club, and previously serving as President in 2019-2020. Reflecting on his tenure, Drew shared at our recent meeting, “Although I worked in Pekin for 10 years, I didn’t truly feel connected to the town until I joined Pekin Rotary.” He cherishes the camaraderie and friendships fostered within our club, highlighting the engaging discussions and mutual support among members.
This year, Drew’s presidency aims to advance our club’s impact by prioritizing initiatives such as increasing membership, enhancing our visibility within Pekin, and bolstering our support for grants and community projects.
Founded in 1920, Pekin Rotary stands as the longest-serving community organization in Pekin, Illinois. As part of Rotary International, a global network of 1.4 million dedicated individuals, we are united by our commitment to taking action and creating lasting change worldwide. Rotary members are active problem-solvers, addressing critical issues such as promoting peace, fighting disease, improving sanitation, supporting education, and more. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in our communities and beyond, guided by our shared values and vision for a better world.
