The Pekin Hometown Voice is now seven months old, and I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the information we’ve gathered up to this point. I’ve met and told you about generous people who have spent their time and sweat making Pekin a special place to call home. This has included nonprofits, service organizations, first responders, and business owners all who willingly donate time and energy to help the community of Pekin.

We want your help with new article ideas or articles that you’d like to submit. Let us know of future events or activities that need public awareness. This publication is directly mailed to over 19,000 mailboxes each month, so we’re sure to reach the area’s residents. Submit articles about school, church, or community events. We welcome articles about that special person, whether it’s a special teacher, pastor, or neighbor who has gone above and beyond. Space is limited, but we’ll do our best to include as much information as we can. Please note this is a local, positive news publication. We won’t publish opinions that aren’t of a positive nature, and we won’t write about politics.
