On December 12, St. Paul United Church of Christ will celebrate 166 years of being present in the City of Us (Pekin). This fall, we have explored the book This is Where You Belong: Finding Home Wherever You Are by Melody Warnick. Twelve chapters full of ways to fall in love with the city you call home invited us to take on challenges such as creating maps of assets, volunteering, and eating local. In celebration, friends from St. Paul are joining together for a Bee Sew Kind-ness Challenge. Our advent theme this year is Words From the Beginning and draws on quilting. We will sew together the greatest love story! 

We will celebrate our birthday with 166 intentional acts of kindness for our community. Be on the lookout for our Bee Sew Kind stickers all over Pekin!
